3rd opus of TO BANG ON A CAN project

CREATION NOVEMBRE 2015 – Festival Mettre en Scène (Rennes)

In CONCRETE, I would like to think of music, dance and light not as objects but as singular procedures in their own right. In other words, how do I bring the “concrete presence” of each to the surface within the same project? How is this interaction (already strongly present in my previous pieces) between light, sound and movement performed?

I envision CONCRETE as the manifesto of a reality of the perceptible, a perpetual state of things transforming or even the invention of a scenic and formal reality whose “non-obstructive” quality brings us back to the experience of the living.
